Active Noise Control Software Engineer
Description
The successful candidate will participate in on-going development of an active noise control (ANC) system used in enclosed spaces. This position can be conducted 90% remotely.
Duties
- Adapting a DSP-based ANC system for new environments
- Executing system interfaces between DSP and host processor
- Find and implement DSP code efficiencies
- Implement user interface modifications as needed
- Perform acoustic performance measurements according to company protocols
- Maintaining and managing version control
Job Requirements
- Ability to develop in Analog Devices CrossCore Embedded Studio, Renesas e2 Studio, GUIX Studio, ThreadX RTOS
- Experienced with fixed-point DSP development
- Ability to learn mathematical approaches to acoustic measurements
- Fluent in English
- Ability to write clear work summaries
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Undergraduate degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering (acoustics), physics, or related field
Preferred skills
- Strong background in FxLMS ANC algorithms
